The 90 day view

There’s something magical about 90 days. It feels both short and long — just 3 months, yet also a full quarter, a whole season. It’s enough time to make real progress, but not so much that it feels out of reach.

New hires set their 90‑day goals. Passwords expire every 90 days. You can usually book flights or accommodation 3 months ahead without too much fuss. Get a chunky project done. Get ripped with a 90 day challenge.

You should probably do all these things because today it is 90 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!

This gave me a mild sense of panic. There is a lot I want to get done before the end of the year rolls around, but then I also know that it is a long slog until the NZ summer holidays too.

More importantly this also means that there is less than 90 days until Spotify Wrapped lands in your inbox. Giving you just enough time to kick the kids off the account and listen to music that you want other people to think that you listen to.
